I bought this generator during the outage of power in Texas in late Feb 2021. We have a 2900 square foot home and this generator will power 60-80% of my home with my central Air/Heat. We love having a backup power source for outages. I’ll perform a load test once my electrician hard wires this to the circuit breaker. A friend recommended this brand to me and after looking at the reviews AND that it was made in the US it was a no brainer which brand generator I was going to purchase.
UPDATE: I’ve attached a video of my first load test.. while my generator was on it was powering: 2 hot water heaters, my dishwasher, my central A/c (2900 sq ft) roughly 30 lights, and my microwave. The meter was still in the green on the generator so probably could have used a couple more small to medium appliances like a coffee maker. I like how easy this generator starts up and the display is easy to read. I hope my review helps others looking at this model.

This replaced my old generator that died. It has enough power to run everything! I even can have hot water and it's not even at 60% load. the old one ...More
This replaced my old generator that died. It has enough power to run everything! I even can have hot water and it's not even at 60% load. the old one couldn't keep a steady frequency; it drifted.
A freezer, 2 refrigerators, 3 sump pumps, the well pump, hot water heater, all the lights and everything else. Don't waste your time with smaller, off-brand units. Just get a Champion!
