It took me a while to set this up as I’m currently camping solo and at a campground where you’re not allowed to attach to trees. Plus there is a table underneath so I couldn’t lay it flat. However, now that I have it figured out, I think it’ll be super easy if one can rig one line to trees. The last 16 hours have been wicked winds and between the ‘roof’ sloping down to deflect wind upwards and the sidewall mesh, my table area is fully protected to the point where I can have paper out without it flying away and stove on. Testing it for a week-long paddle trip. This is too bulky/heavy for backpacking, but perfect for kayaking where you still want it compact and not too heavy.

Ok, so far just testing in the backyard and I'm impressed. This will take canoe/kayak camping up a few notches for sure. I hammock camp exclusively and having this massive bug shelter is going to make my day sooooo much more comfortable during bug season. You can snooze without a much more confining hammock bug net. Hang your legs out and not wake up mosquito bitten. The dog can now sleep inside with me on her pad and I'll know where she is. I'll update more as I use it on a 3 day trip to Kejimkujik National Park next week.
