This unit features 2 modes controlled by a black rocker switch next to the red power rocker switch.
a. The black rocker switch ON (or in the I position) turns ECO MODE on. The generator runs very quietly but wattage output is reduced.
b. The black rocker switch OFF (or in the O position) turns ECO MODE off. The generator will operate at the full rated wattage output, but is louder.
The air intake is on the bottom. Cut yourself a small piece a plywood to always sit the unit on so your not pulling trash/sand/dirt into it.

I have a larger Firman generator that will run just about everything on my fifth wheel RV, but I wanted something smaller and easier to move around that would be used just to charge the batteries. This little unit absolutely fits the bill.
