So far i like it. I have only ran it for a few minutes to set it up but will give it a proper break-in and test. It should prove to be a valuable piece of equipment to back up my home's power. I had one issue- the assembly instructions were really terrible. The issue is that the assembly diagram is a really small picture, 2 x 2 inches! I had a hard time reading it and seeing what part is what. Also some of the copy references things that aren't on the generator like how the battery cables are attached. For an expensive large ticket item like this they could at least ship with better documentation. Luckily i am mechanically inclined and i figured it out with minimum issues. One word of caution- it arrives bolted to a pallet and you will need a helping hand to lift it up on blocks to install the feet and wheels. It is very heavy so be careful! I have watched videos before hand and i was not surprised by this. Make sure you have a socket set and wrenches for assembly. Also be ready to put air in the tires as they are not fully inflated. Its a beast to move so make sure the tires are filled properly (25-30psi). They also ship it without oil in it but provide enough oil and supplies to do the initial setup and one oil / filter spark plug change. They do not tell you how much oil to put in. You need to check that it is not overfilled. It has a decent dipstick so go little by little and check it as you go I ended up putting in a bit more than half of the bag they supplied. Overall I like the solid build quality and feels like a serious piece of equipment.

Update:
When hurricane Isaiah came, my town was without power for 5 days. This generator worked perfectly! I was able to run my central air, all lights, fridge, internet, tv and some other items for hours at a time. It performed reliably and with no issues. I discovered that my usage level was burning about .46 gal/hour. which is a bit lower than what they say it burns at 50% capacity. I also ran it enough to do my first oil change and found that it takes 1.7 quarts and the oil filter is easily found in the local pep boys or car parts store. I am very happy with this purchase and glad i have the peace of mind i have this as a backup.
