 Great little generator. Got it for storm season, and for working at the camp. Keep the container the oil comes in, keeps you from having to measure it later on.

Runs so quiet I accidentally left it running while enjoying the campfire, then noticed when it ran out of gas and I heard it cut off. Whoops!

It’s light, you can carry it around. Doesn’t hold much gas, but it’s easy to refill.

Run ethanol free, I recommend getting that one gallon gas they sell at Home Depot. It has all the additives you need.

Run it out of fuel before you store it, just let it idle till it dies, pull it a couple of more times to make sure it’s all gone. Verify by opening the cap and taking a peek inside.

I have a SUA2300 that I was using on my boat to run AC and other items. got this to have an ultra quite generator. The noise level is half of the SU. I was surprised when it ran everything on my boat at the same time. air condition, ac outlets, battery charger, microwave and coffee pot. Both generators have the same size tank. aprox 1.1 gal. the su will make it between 10 and 11 hrs. just running the ac at night. best that the generac would do is 5.5 hrs. so it is a trade off for less noise to get up at 3 in the morning to refill the tank.

I have had this generator for almost a year and it hasn't let me down yet. I did add a generator dolly for the honda generator but the generac fit fine but had to make up something to bolt gene down. It's also much quieter then my old generator which makes neighbors happy. Overall it's a great generator for the money.

Before running the unit I purchased magnet oil plug and and hour meter. Of all the videos and reviews for the break-in stage I did a total of 5 oil changes (save the oil bottle that is included make a marking of fill level) on the 5 oils change I put full load (2k watt lights). I purchased a magnet oil plug and the 1st-3rd oil change did notice alit of metal shavings. 4th and 5th very little. And for my 2gal fuel tank I added Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer.
After 25hours of running I will run Synthetic 10w30.
Super quite and not heavy at all! Only thing is little task of eye balling the fuel lol still in work in progress on that lol
