I have been using a single solar panel to charge my battery box up until now. Since I purchased a second solar panel, I'd like to shorten the charge time by combining both panels. That's where these T branch connectors come in. I can now double the charging amperage to my battery box, thus cutting down on the charge time.
They snap in securely to my existing MC4 connectors that run to the solar panels. They can also be removed easily with the help of an MC4 wrench. The quality appears to be a good as any of the MC4 connectors I have.
I couldn't find anything I don't like about them. I recommend them.
