I purchased this for a shore property and it took me about 3.5 hours to assemble. The wood foundation I built took me much longer than the shed. If you have an electric drill and the right tools it is really easy. The instructions are very good and easy to follow. If you read it prior to the installation and also install some of the items that they recommend pre-installing it will be even faster. Make sure your platform is even, and you need a ladder. One other reviewer said you need two people. In some parts it is recommending two people, but it really is not necessary. Frankly, I do not know what the second person would do since each part is pretty light. The only watch out is that you will need some heavy stuff (like a bag of sand, etc.) to place on the roof since the roof was slightly bent and you will not be able to get the screws in without the weight. Maybe that is where the second person can come in handy - but really not needed.

I needed a flat-pack shed that could be assembled within a carport with a very low entry but high interior ceiling (no way to put a storage pod or container in there). I wanted a shed that, although made of plastic, would fit reasonably well with the California Minimalist architecture of this house. And that was reasonably priced, because I just need some extra storage for my rental unit. Although there were no reviews yet, I took a chance and bought this from Amazon. It arrived on schedule (ok, it was one day later than promised) with a big truck from a freight delivery service that I'd never heard of before. I had to help the driver haul the pallet up the last stretch of the driveway and into the carport, as the box was too much for him to move by himself. When I opened the box, all of the parts were there, along with rather clear instructions. First and foremost, YOU NEED TWO (2) ADULTS to assemble this shed; you will never succeed by yourself. That said, it took two men a half-afternoon and a half-morning to assemble the shed, about 5 hours all together. Not bad! You need the second person to hold up walls, or to push on them from the other side, or hang off of beams to get them to snap into place, and so on. In our case, there was a big snafu when, with the walls already in place (but not the roof), the instructions called for sliding a 6-foot steel girder vertically down into an already standing wall. But the carport roof wasn't high enough to let us do this as the engineers had planned it. So although we are both in our 60s we had to lift up the whole shed, tilt it onto its side, and then have one guy hold it steady from beneath while the other guy finally managed to slide in the girder, which isn't easy to do under normal circumstances (much less these ones). Whew. Probably a warning at the beginning of the instructions would be warranted ("you will need 16 feet of overhead clearance in order to assemble the shed," or something like that). We had to drill a couple of extra holes in the main roof steel crossbeam because the pre-drilled holes didn't quite line up, but all in all (we're talking about hundreds of screws and bolts) things fit together very nicely. The shed has good ventilation, some natural lighting from plexiglass windows, an inch-thick shock-absorbing non-slip plastic floor like those you see on playgrounds around here, sits perfectly upright on the carport's concrete slab, and can be padlocked. There are some small gaps in places where the wall panels meet, but you can gun some silicon into those if you wish. FIVE STARS!

I purchased this for a shore property and it took me about 3.5 hours to assemble. The wood foundation I built took me much longer than the shed.
